Embed a breathing timer
Add a working breathing timer to your website, class page or client resources. Pick a technique or set your own pattern, copy the code, and paste it wherever your editor accepts an iframe: WordPress, Google Sites, Notion, Squarespace. It is free, needs no account, and the widget shows no ads and sets no cookies.

How to add it
- WordPress: add a Custom HTML block and paste the code.
- Google Sites: choose Insert, then Embed, then Embed code, and paste.
- Squarespace: add a Code block and paste the code.
- Notion: type /embed and paste the address from the src="…" part of the code.
Can't use an iframe? Every technique page has a GIF of its timer to download — for example, the box breathing GIF. It plays in slides, email and docs that block embeds.
Questions
- Is it free?
- Yes. The widget is free for personal, classroom and commercial sites. There is no account and no usage limit.
- Does it track my visitors?
- The widget sets no cookies and stores nothing that identifies anyone. It counts page views, when a timer session starts and when it finishes, and whether the frame stayed open in a visible tab for 30 seconds, with cookieless Umami analytics, the same as this site. The privacy policy has the details.
- Can I remove the link under the timer?
- You can. The line under the frame is plain HTML on your page. If you keep it, it helps other people find the timer. Thank you.
- Can I change the pattern?
- Pick Breathing timer or Paced breathing with your own pattern, then set each phase from 1 to 20 seconds. Holds can be 0. The code updates as you go.
- Does it work offline?
- No. The widget loads from breathecadence.com each time the page opens. For offline practice, install the app from any timer page.
- Is this medical advice?
- No. The timer paces your breathing and nothing more. Each widget links to its technique page, where the cautions are listed in full.
